Improvement Proposals

SIMD (Solana Improvement Documents) is Solana's improvement proposal mechanism, similar to Ethereum's EIP. Anyone can submit a proposal to improve the Solana protocol.

SIMD Process

1. Draft Submit the initial proposal to GitHub.

2. Discussion Community discussion and feedback.

3. Review Core developers review technical feasibility.

4. Accepted Proposal is accepted and prepared for implementation.

5. Implemented Code development and testing.

6. Activated Activated on mainnet.
